I started feeling the same way last week, and took off my "That's Berry Daring" OPI polish, which I have been wearing this summer, and replaced it with "Eiffel for this Color". Probably a bit premature for such a dark shade, but I was just in the mood for it!

i've been impatiently easing into fall for a few weeks now (it's my favorite season!!), switching between a little of a darker lip and smokier eyes. The cool nights (so uncharacteristic of august - even in new england!) have got me thinking about sweaters as well! i haven't had the guts to pull out a dark polish yet though . . . so i've moved from my summer corals to naturals and nudes. i'm currently a big fan of sephora by OPI in "bare to be different". i definitely think this is my new favorite nude polish!

I ordered Jampacked on Friday and can't wait to get it! Looks gorgeous!
I painted my toes OPI Dutch Tulips last week, but will be making the switch to a darker fall color soon. I am ready for fall! Sadly, it will be hot here until later October... sometimes living in the southwest is no fun!

I love Kennebunkport! Thanks to your recommendation, I used it so much I need to buy thinner for it.
It's odd - with the hype about all the fall nail collections, I felt like I went through my "fall nail polish" phase in late July/early August. And now I feel like it's too dark for these hot temperatures and sunny weather - OPI's You Don't Know Jacques and China Glaze's fall collection - so I'm back to wearing a glittery pink (OPI designer series Signature) which I'm much happier with.
It feels like beauty (and/or beauty blogs) is now dictating the seasons, with the hype of the nail polish collections and Bobbi Brown's marvelous Mauve collection (both, conveniently, matching very well in mood and color). I totally fell for it. And now I feel like it was a bit premature.

I've been too excited about the fall colors to wait to wear them. I've already sported Sephora OPI Metro Chic, and right now my nails are painted Sally Hansen Navy Venom. I still have Essie Bermuda Shorts on my toes though, so I guess I'm straddling the seasons.

I'm jonesing for the fall colors already, but since I have terrible cuticles, I'm more focused on lippies. I think I might be into the blackish-red/berry shades, you know, dark but not too goth, but I'm not sure which to try. Any recommendations?

I'm still sporting a hot pink pedi and trying to hang on to summer at least through the end of August. It will still feel summery here in SoCal through September and probably October (I am from the East coast, therefore not used to it), so it's kind of hard to feel like fall, but I'm going to do my best to channel autumn !

China Glaze "Naked", it's a transitional shade for me. Not dark enough for fall or bright enough for summer :o)

HI! I have been trying to do colors that are in between summer and fall. I can not even begin to tell the names of the colors, but they are by OPI, a brighter than burnt orange, and a bright leafy green are my most recent tactics. But here in Memphis, Tn it will be hot until who knows! It doesn't start cooling off until late October. So I will fully give up my bright yellow and pinks mid September. Until then, I am hanging on to Summer!

It's hard when you live in Australia and the rest of the world has different seasons to you I've really gotten into nail polish in the last year - especially since I discovered how easy and cheap it is to buy online - so when it comes to nails I really just wear whatever's newest in my burgeoning stash. Which means I've been wearing summer brights in winter, and it looks like I'll be getting into the autumn darks this spring.
That said, I love all orange cremes, so I'll be wearing China Glaze Japanese Koi regardless of the weather.

It feels like Labor Day is coming early this year! Or maybe the summer's just gone by really fast. Regardless, I don't know if I'm ready for dark nail polish yet... but talk to me next week!

I'm totally a summer/beach girl, so I want to hold onto summer for as long as possible, too! But, looking at all the gorge fall shades, I think I'll be ok Luckily, I live in California, so I can stretch out summer a little more . . .

I love, love, LOVE the Fall!! I love the clear blue skies, the crisp Fall weather and most of all the Fall colors - the ones outdoors as well as the ones at the cosmetics counter. The rusts and berries
flatter my skintone (a warm, deep caramel.) I live in a town of 5000 in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The nearest mall is about 2 hrs away in the next state. I'd love to hear about the new Fall shades are so that when I go to Denver during the Christmas break, I know which cosmetic counters to target!

I'm still on my summer shades until September, although usually I do jump the gun and start wearing my fall shades in the summer. It's taking all my strength not to buy any of the new O.P.I. France collection. I know I have similar colors in my trough but I still want them...ALL of them!

I can never seem to let go of my summer shades when it comes to nailpolish. I have an insane love for bright super bold nails... but your post has inspired me to stray away from my comfort zone and try a berry shade. I don't remember what polish it was, but I'm in love with the color now!

It's still hot as heck here in CA, so no luscious fall shades until it finally cools down in (late) October. My staple fall nail is OPI's Mrs. O'Leary's BBQ. Cannot wait.

Sadly, it will be summer in FL until December! I'm so ready for fall fashion and makeup, but it's too heavy for 90 degree weather. I'm looking forward to dark, deep berry lips!

It's still in the 30+ (C) up here, and normally we hover around the 10-15 in fall, so no, I'm not feeling. But I think it's going to be hot right up until November this year. Maybe not. :D At least mid-October. To echo one of your earlier posts, "Damn you, global warming!"

I totally agree, fall is on it's way. I just bougt OPI "Louvre Me,Louvre Me Not". It's a pretty pinkish purple colour; I like it because it helps me embody the dark trend without feeling goth. I also just replaced my brown eyeliner with greyish black. Yea fall!

I am absolutely in love with OPI's France Collection. I'm wearing Eiffel for This Color at the moment and it's such an amazing color for the fall-like temperature in New York!

Fall is definitely on the way! Some leaves are already changing here in NJ just over the GW Bridge but I am still using a nice summer "Coral Canyon" by Essie on my toes". I just can't let go of summer yet!

Just went for the 'fall pedi' and went for the OPI French collection "Bastille My Heart" and love, love, love it. Going to NYC for fashion week so I thought I need the 'dark polish' look. I love fall as many posters here noted also.

I love OPI. The berry red sounds amazing for this time of year. I've ordered OPI from Amazon before and was really impressed with the quality and selection.
