I love Bay Rum too - my father used to wear the Michelsen's - it bizarrely always reminds me of a good carrot cake, nice and spicy.
I am not a huge fan of this product.
Rather embarrassingly, I adore Old Spice. Yes, that gloriously un-chic brand that old men [and young boys nicking their dad's cologne] wear. I have never plucked up the courage to actually buy any, but my uncle wears it and I have been known to swipe a spray or two from his bathroom cupboard every so often :D
I love bay rum - it's a nice, spicy scent that (usually) isn't overpowering. My boyfriend uses a soap with bay rum oils (possibly some orange and cardamom) and I love the way the smell lingers after a shower.
My favorite scent EVER is Lacoste Pour Homme.
While it's a men's cologne, I wear it all the time.
It started when my dad bought some, and I used so much of his that I figured I should just buy my own.
oh,that bay rum can be sexy on a man.an ex had a shaving kit from burt's bees with the stiff bristle lather brush and the concave cake of bay rum soap.i think it was the combination of the rich scent and the tactile sensuality of working up the lather and brushing it on.it was yummy in many ways.
Oh my gosh I remember that cologne! My grandfather used to live with that stuff!
Dior's Fahrenheit is like that for me. I hate it, but I cannot stop smelling it whenever I am around a tester bottle. Same goes for Dior's Dune. I had a roommate in college who I loathed who positively BATHED in the stuff.
