This is off the subject - but I'm so glad you're back! I took your recommendation and bought the MAC Solar Riche bronzer the other day, and it is beyond fabulous. Your recommendations always fit me to a tee. My wallet isn't glad that you're back - but I totally am!

hey, just wanted to say welcome back. was absolutely thrilled to see you're posting again and even happier to learn that your absence was due to happy things (like Hawaii). sorry i have nothing to say on topic (a brunette, no highlights...), but given some of the negative traffic here lately, i figured you may still appreciate knowing there are fans out here, not just psychos.

Your hair looks great. Have you ever experimented with any home hair coloring...like root touch ups? I think it would be a great topic during these "budget" times...I would love to hear what you would recommend,

I tried to find this at Ulta, but they didn't have it 
So, I went online and found out it is a brand new product. They did have the Pure Pearl and Fresh Gold color treatments in the tube- not sure if those are similar to the Perfect Platinum Color Enhancer...anyone tried either?

Anonymous and Acaiburn - I'm actually not wearing anything on my lips in that picture! That natural pink lip color is the exact reason I'm always griping about not being able to find lip pencils that match it, haha!
Alyce's Mom - I've never tried any at-home root touch-ups, I'd be afraid I'd mess up! My highlights are a full head with foils so I'm not sure I'd be able to touch them up evenly.
Stacey - I'm not sure about the treatments you mention, but from the sound of them, they might be more potent/permanent? I'll definitely look into them.

Kristen- I actually went ahead and bought the Pure Pearl treatment and I really like it. It is a lavender cream that brightens pale blondes or those with pale blonde/light blonde highlights. I have strawberry blonde hair with light blonde highlights and it does not damage or change my base color but brightens my almost 3 month old highlights. I, like you, have hair that eats color! You should give it a try- highly recommended!
