why would you spend the $$ on the perfume when you can just slather on some Coppertone?
I have to say that I love the original Michael Kors Island. I bought it on a hot summer's day last year and whenever I put it on (also sometimes in the winter) it reminds me of warm breezes.
I love Demeter's Blue Hawaii- it's not beachy in the tanning oil/surf/sand kind of way but it really reminds me of the way the house we rent in Kauai'i smells, it's something about the fresh pineapple note.
Bobbi Brown beach is one of my favorite beachy scents, though you might have noticed it's pretty difficult to find the big 3.4 oz bottle, as only the 1.7 oz has been available for months. I have requested it via email, was told this size is 'unavailable'... what's a beauty editor to do?

Bobbi Brown Beach is good but a little heavy on the floral and for some reason reminds me of White Shoulders. I love Demeter's Blue Hawaii or Pina Colada best.

These perfume roundups, I think they're my favorites of all your great posts. I'd love to see you do more -- 5 Best For Work, 5 Best on An Airplane, etc. I can actually imagine the scent when you describe it. It could be a feature every 2 months or so, and then start all over again the next year!
