Gravatar I can't live without a tinted moisturizer, so I'll have to give this one a try. I typically use Laura Mercier, but I go through it like crazy and it is pretty expensive. It may be worth it in the end, but if I can get something with great results for a cheaper price tag I'm open to it!

Gravatar I'm always looking for a good tinted moisturizer. Will def. look into this one.

Gravatar How funny! I was just thinking these past couple of days I need to get a good tinted moisturizer. I've tried the DuWop Revolotion and am a huge fan as well. But I'm feeling restless and want to try another brand just for the sake of it. Any recommendations?

Gravatar I have oily skin and tend to break out, so I typically use a powder foundation to even out my discoloration and old blemish marks. I used to shy away from tinted moisturizers, thinking that they would just make my face look oilier, but I gave the DuWop Revolotion Face a try after reading your first review, and it's just as great as you claimed! When my skin is "behaving" and I need less coverage, I use Caitlin in the winter/fall and Tara in the spring/summer for a more bronzed look.

Just a note - you can usually find all of the shades for sale on ebay, too.

Gravatar aw, you were in my sephora the week i was at training on 34th street. i hope my coworkers treated you well and you werent accosted by homeless folk.

Gravatar I do like Revolotion, but it always surprises me when I open it up and put it on because it smells like regular ol' sunscreen. I managed to get my mom hooked on it too, because we both went to a DuWop event and I had us both matched for Revolotion (the real reason why I went!).

Gravatar I never used a tinted moisturizer before,I use more of a concealer.

Gravatar You got me addicted to this, too. I order mine from skinstore.com, and I do the auto shipments to get it a little cheaper.

Gravatar i'm gonna be a stick in the mud here; i tried Duwop on beautyaddict's recommendation (Caitlin), and it didn't fit with my skin at all. it was too oily, i didn't like the orang-y oil dripping out of the bottle every time i opened it (when the oil separated from the color)...i'm now happy and back to my laura mercier tinted moisturiser.

Gravatar It's so funny that you posted this review. I am new to tinted moisturizers and my friend has been raving about them forever so I decided to finally try one. I was on Sephora forever the other night trying to decide between the DuWop and the Lorac tinted moisturizer. I finally decided to go with the Lorac b/c the colors for the DuWop didn't seem like a match for me (I have fair skin). Now I'm scared I made the wrong choice!! Hopefully the Lorac is amazing...I'll let you know.

Gravatar Thank you for posting this. I've been meaning to get a new tinted moisturizer and had no idea where to even begin. I will most definitely check this out. Here's hoping my Sephora has my color since I'm usually (and quite surprisingly) the second lightest shade in nearly every product line out there.

Gravatar I've tried this tinted moisturizer before, and I looove it! Benefit also has (or had) a great one too :D

Gravatar I too am an avid Laura Mercier fan, but have been inspired to break out of my beauty rut after being introduced to Sisley's Phyto Teint Eclat Oil-Free Foundation. Read my post about it at http://www.beautyinchelsea.com. Hopefully I will inspire some of you girls to try it!

Gravatar man, I wish they stocked this in the pale shade, I just can't bring myself to buy it online without trying it on although you were dead on about Origins' Plantidote Mega-Mushroom face cream...

Gravatar This has never even crossed my mind. Seems like tinted moisturizer could save a step or two, at least on good days. Worth a try...

Gravatar I gave it a try few months ago, thanks to you... And I looooove it.. so now I am using it everyday... Well almost because I am now giving a try to Bare Minerals as it seems that it is also an amazing gem regarding so many other bloggers.

Have a nice week. Cheers, Geraldine.

PS I made a link on my webpage to yours....www.creationcoeuretpassion.blogspot.com. Hope it is alright with you...because I think my swiss friends needs to know that you exist and that you have been my inspiration to create my blog too....

Gravatar Wow, it's amazing to hear from so many fellow fans of Revolotion Face! It's funny, Lip Venom is the DuWop product that gets the most press by far, but I feel like Revolotion Face is the secret cult favorite...

Gravatar I love Revolotion Face! I first saw it on QVC (yay for tivo!) and couldn't get over how nice the finish looked on tv. So I googled it for reviews and was pointed to your site. Upon further investigation of the ingredients (it doesn't have silicones--that I can tell; I really break out from silicones), I decided to try it. Fortunately it was still at Nordstrom at the time, so I could sample. I'm the lightest color, Nanci. I tested it for a couple days and went right back to purchase. It did separate after a while. When I compared the colors from the old and new tubes, I could see a dramatic color difference. It really oxidized. Those are really the only negatives. I was able to find Nanci locally at Soft Surroundings. That store carries the entire DuWop line. Thanks for posting about Revolotion Face again.

Gravatar If you love your moisturizer but want light coverage without wearing foundation, you may want to try remede translucent UV coat (SPF 30). It evens out your complexion, makes the dark circles under your eyes a little less noticeable and gives you a nice glow. Plus, a little goes a long way. The shades are probably better for more fair skin tones. Got hooked on it from a facial lady two years ago and have never looked back!

Gravatar I wished this product worked for me - loved the dewy effect but got an allergic reaction to the titanium dioxide in it...some products with an SPF I'm fine so I'm wondering if it's the level of titanium dioxide used in the product??

Gravatar It's "satin matte" because there's glitter in it! It's not enough to be noticable unless you really get up-close, but still. Just a warning!

Gravatar Well , I guess that's why there's apples and oranges as they say! I have tried this product several times (getting generous samples from Sephora) and it is just not good for me! It smells like strong sunscreen and is hard to spread - no "slip". The coverage is like a medium foundation -pretty heavy - not a tinted moisturizer at all. Am I doing something wrong? I just don't get it.

Gravatar Joy - That's funny because I am usually REALLY sensitive to titanium dioxide but it doesn't bother me in this formula. Maybe it's the avebenzone that's bothering your skin? Physical and chemical sunscreens can cause varying reactions, so it's worth experimenting with a few products to see if you can isolate the specific ingredient that your skin doesn't like. Anything with zinc oxide in it drives my skin crazy, but I'm ok with chemical sunscreens...while many people have the opposite problem.

Jenni - Hmmm, I never noticed any "glitter" before, will have to look closely in the sunlight! There is mica in it but it's nowhere near the level that I would classify as "glitter."

Nina - If you are the same Nina who is a fan of that O-Gloss, it seems like you and I are not mutual fans of many products, even though I believe we have similar coloring, LOL! I do get the sunscreen smell, but it doesn't bother me. As for the "slip," I've never really had a problem spreading it (although I DID have that problem, in the worst way, with that Biotherm product that I attempted to substitute with). Maybe you and Revolotion are just not a match! Which tinted moisturizer (if you use one) do you prefer?

Gravatar I'm a bit partial to Clinique Moisture Sheer Tints. The price is right, and it doesn't make my skin feel overly oily or sticky, which is a bit of a feat given my horrendously oily skin. I use it over Paula's Choice BHA gel and anti-oxidant concentrate and it works great, and it also reapplies well (I like to reapply my sunscreen at least once during the day).

Gravatar I ordered face revolution off of ebay in the lauren color for only about 6 dollars. I like it but i still use moisturizer before applying. I didnt notice any glitter effect though! I will have to take closer look...

Gravatar I really really like this too - it has become on of my favorite tinted moisturizers primarily because it has some heft to it...it doesn't feel like it just disappears into your skin

Gravatar Sooooo.... What if you don't have flawless skin that just needs a hint of color? LOL! Am I the only one who feels like I need coverage?

With tinted moisturizers, I always feel at the end of the day that I look blotchy. I don't mind my freckels a bit, but I'm fairly pale, and the no-makeup look does not work when you've got a little red around the nose, a little purple under the eye...

What's a not-perfect girl to do?

Gravatar hey kristen this sounds like a great product
would u recommend this for a sixteen year old to use? I

'm trying to find a face base that isn't too heavy or too "old" for my skin. i have fairly good skin so i suppose i only need sheer coverage.

hope you can give me suggestions!
xxx love this blog btw
