I would say I'm sorry but I'm not. And you're welcome.
Ella & Chloe had a brief phase of really liking Devendra Banhart too. But it seemed to pass relatively quickly.
I never look at the most frequently played on my iPod, but now I'm curious. Hang on...
Hey, guess what's number two? "The Body Breaks," right behind "A Sight to Behold." Then comes "July, July!" and a bunch of Iron & Wine and more Decemberist.

That LG's got good taste--Devendra does have a beautiful voice. And lovely hair, to boot.
And I love me some Modest Mouse too. You've kind of made me realize my own penchant for failure songs...

Oh, and you say you have no musical talents! Pshaw. Here you are with musical taste.

"Southern Cross" is a favorite of mine. It reminds me of my father, who appreciated it for lines like "Sailing a reach before a following sea". Dad said that line indicated that it had been written by someone who actually knows something about sailing. Mind you, he was not nearly so fond of the rest of the Daylight Again album.

I need an iPod....the ability to have so many choices right there instead of sorting through a pile of several hundred CD's when C gets in the mood for something. Ahhh....
I love Who Is It as well. Never tried Modest Mouse, will have to investigate.

Julia is equally enamored of "the September song," as she calls it. I wonder what's so appealing about this one to the 4 year old set?

I like you, even though you're not a Green Day fan (for shame!)

Thanks for tolerating me, Lisa. We all have our faults, alas. I've been feeling guilty that I forgot to welcome you to the commenting pixie party last time you commented. So welcome!

Now that blogger's working again, I can say:
I love LG's taste in music. "Southern Cross" is a song I never tire of.
'Cause the truth you might be runnin' from is so small
But it's as big as the promise, the promise of a comin' day
