Having been an immigrant myself, (I am now a proud alien) I understand the struggles and hardships that immigrants go through. I also see the way we can sometimes be taken advantage of too.
Above all I am proud of how so many different communities came together to support a cause. It gives me joy to see that democracy works. That we can practice what we preach. And that my parents picked the right place for me to call home.
Although everyone is entitled to their opinion, no matter on what side your on. America is the land of opportunity, and I am greatefull that I have the opportunity to express my opinion

Every time I go to downtown, it's practically required that I get one of those bacon-wrapped hot dogs. Blasphemous as this may sound, they're so much better than Dodger dogs......

Andrea Santana - I'm always on the side of "people". Having worked in Bakersfield, I've seen the conditions that the farm workers endure. I don't think it's fair and I think our government is at fault for turning a blind eye to the conditions of those workers. I wouldn't doubt that the "problem" in coming up with a viable solution to issues involving immigration are directly tied to the economics of the agricultural industries.
I've heard a lot of opinions about immigration recently. I hope you know, I truly value yours.
BTW - Can you tell folks to quit bashing the media at these big protests. I get confused when I'm invited to cover a protest and find myself being protested against.

Hmm, I think those hot dogs should seriously be a part any discussion on the immigration issue. Between the hot dogs and the corn vendors we ought to be able to come up with a plan. At least we'd all be smiling.

You ate one of those large fried onions? Eww. What i saw kind of reminds me of the big group is like down on 7th street here in apache junction (At least that is were i think it is). Where a group of mexicans were, i only heard part of the story but i think i got the drift.

darleene - I hate to think what it might be doing to my body, but they sure tickle my taste buds.
asantana - I think the experiences we share are part of the things that helps to bring us together as a society.
That's why I had two.
Joe Somebody - I had two, but I'm just trying to make the world a better place.
trin king - No, they cut up the onion and grill them with peppers.
