What he is trying to attempt is the ambassadorial split, where when in the USA he talks about the never ending alliance, making George an honorary Queenslander, and when in China he speaks Mandarin, telling their leaders with his usual Kevin smile just how wonderful and mutually prosperous the two countries economic ties are.
