It's amazing to see the interest generated by Prof.Tamanaha's post which I think only does justice to the relevance of the issue. Costs aside, I personally find the interdisciplinary approach very valuable, whether or not I'm going to practice as a lawyer (I won't)simply because it gives you a new lens with which to view the issue at hand. I don't think it should be the exclusive domain of the so-called elite schools. After all, majority of the practicing lawyers do come from these non-elite institutions. It would do well to prepare them for either solo practice or government work or other form of lawyering.
