They're lovely! Something I used to do for baby waistbands is make the top with eyelets and weave a cord through instead. I never liked using elastic there.

How did Grace get to be a year old? Those are seriously cute pants. If someone said to me "crochet pants" I would have cringed inside. What a cute pattern and I like the hat on the baby model.
