Gravatar That cardi looks great - makes me wish I could crochet.

Gravatar The cardigan looks great!

Gravatar i'm really liking that cardigan, great colour on you, and you're right about it looking different to what you'd expect of crochet - such a strong design.

Gravatar Very definitely not daggy. It is going to look great (already does). Sorry the rest of your day was not so crash hot.

Gravatar It's coming out great! Love the color!

Gravatar It's looking really good, great colour on you too.

Sorry to hear you had a bad day, hopefully a nice quiet evening at home working on your cardi will help smooth things over for you.

Gravatar You are a posting gun this week, aren't you!

Looks great, I am so making this. When I get time. And another pair of arms!

Sorry you had such a sh*t day lovey. Hugs.

Gravatar You're right about crochet. I learned to do it when I was a kid but all the patterns looked wonky to me. But now, there are so many that are gorgeous. I'll have to get out my hooks and have a go at one.

Gravatar I hope that today is better than yesterday, and that the rest of the cardi goes well.

Gravatar There were two things that turned me off to crochet when I was younger.

1) My mother and all my aunts crocheted, and I was a rebel and wanted to be different.

2) I just remember those accrylic monstrosities afghans in really ugly colors that my aunts made.

You're so right, with the internet and the resurgence of natural fibers, it is a great time for crocheters.

Gravatar I love that color. You did a great job.

Gravatar Looking really great - a nice antidote to a not so nice day - with the wine on top - sounds good :o)

Gravatar I think we shouldn't have to go to work at all and endure all that crapness. It's a creativity killing hell with flourescent lights (well mine is anyway). We should all be at home crocheting great cardies instead. And writing prose. (I'm not really kidding either).

At least you went home early.

Gravatar A pretty blue color !Hope your moving is past the worst part.

Gravatar Passing on the good vibes: I've nominated your blog for the Kreativ Blogger Award.

Gravatar you're so right about the daggy crochet patterns! But haven't they come along leaps and bounds in the last few years even? We have a good number of crocheter's in our SnB and I'm in awe of what they're producing in the way of garments.

this little jacket is magnificent, and I'm glad to hear the Bendy Lux is lovely to work with - I have just purchased 2kg of it!

Gravatar The cardi is coming along nicely. Hope the rest of the week get's in the "nice" line, too. Moving is such a pain!

Gravatar Your crochet top looks great. I wish I could crochet that.

Gravatar Gorgeous cardigan, I'm glad it's helping to smooth the rough edges out for you, and that the wine will finish the job if the handiwork doesn't. Moving sounds like it will be a pain in the ass, are you all in charge of just moving personal belongings, or are you moving everything? I hope the weekend is better for you, with mild, soft weather and lots of opportunities to relax.

Gravatar That's what crochet should be about! And I'm loving the Luxury too.

Gravatar I'm not usually a fan of crochet - though I did make and wear several crocheted garments and accessories in the seventies! But this cardi is going to be lovely. I particularly like the deep blue / grey colour.

Gravatar I wish I could crochet! Mine is all wonky. *Pouts*

Lovely cardigan though!

Gravatar Very nice, that color looks great!

Gravatar It looks utterly beautiful - and next time I see you, I'm sitting you down with some nice wine and forcing you to teach me!
Hugs

Gravatar Looking very cute, purple is one of fav colors (falls just behind red).

Gravatar ooh it's lovely Bells, colour, fit, everything.

Gravatar I love that cardigan. I have never been inspired to make a garment in crochet ... until now.

Gravatar Absolutely gorgeous cardy. You know I can see this in my mind in an old gold, it would be gorgeous to wear out somewhere special instead of a shawl or something when dressed up.

Gravatar It's looking great so far, really pretty! I love the colour on you.

Gravatar I know what you mean--there are a few crocheted projects that work up WONDERFULLY--and there are a few where you simply look at it and think, "A knitted fabric would just look better..."

I love that cardi--can't wait to see it finished!

Gravatar I have to say you look very Forties film star glamorous in your photo. The cardi is looking fine and the colour suits you so well. Sometimes a change of craft is as good as a holiday. I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

Gravatar The cardi is lovely and so is its creator. You make me itch to grab a needle and go to work. Maybe when it's not so dreadfully hot. It will give me something to look forward to.
