Gravatar Sounds like a great day out. I've wondered whether to go to the London one but haven't made it yet... even more tempted after seeing your snaps.

Gravatar I sympathise about the head cold, but you do have the greatest pan, complete with great story!

Gravatar It is a lovely tradition, and how nice to get the fab frypan at the end of the show! (well, except for the carrying around of it I bet!!).

Gravatar Sounds like a brilliant day! I am wowed by your pan. So expensive. I hope it does the cooking for you and washes itself at that price!

Gravatar yes, it would be great to see Gordon in action, shame about the apparent need for him to keep up his bad-boy image. looks like it was a great day and a great haul - and i LOVE your scarf (is it ishbel?)... (off to stalk your Ravelry page...)

Gravatar I love the Pukara Oil too. I have a Pukara Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar that I bought from the Old Bus Depot Markets.

Gravatar What a fun day. And colds can be simply awful! Hope you can baby yourself a little.

Gravatar sorry you're sick, but it looks like you had the most amazing time - I particularly love the iphone shot!!

Gravatar Take care of yourself. Head colds are nasty. Mine has just gone a good two weeks worth of misery.

Is that Ishbel around your shoulders? Mine is very snuggly and warm and soft.

What a good prize to win! And that oil is very nice. we have some here, reserved for special occasions. our normal oil comes from a big drum and was the first pressings from the farm of a friend. Also very nice.

Gravatar Gee, twice in a row makes it a tradition in my book. It looks like you had a ball! You obviously needed to come home and rest.

Major score on the frypan, and now I'm all a-twitter about the I-phone. did you win that, too? Or did someone drop it in your bag or what?

The scarf is soo elegant and lovely! You look wonderful.

Gravatar Oh I love free stuff! Especially really, really nice free stuff! I also love that picture of you and Adele. I'm glad the cold waited until you were home, at least. Feel better soon!

Gravatar Lovely post! It does look like the best weekend ever! And such a nice frying pan - so envious!

I like your stash - that St Dalfour is a staple in my kitchen - the blueberry is amazing with pancakes and the strawberry divine with scones.

And one of these days, I'll get my hands on the Pukara Estate. I love their flavours.

Can't wait to hear about the iphone.

Gravatar What a wonderful day! I'm the tiniest bit jealous about the pan, but I'm sure you were the picture of decorum!

Gravatar Great writeup, thanks for sharing your tradition with us again. The food and wine show sounds like it was amazing, and your haul looks awfully impressive, even without the awesome free frying pan. I hope you get clear of the cold quickly, they can drain your energy so fast. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that lovely, lovely scarf. It's such a lovely knit, and you look so sophisticated (and warm) with it thrown about your shoulders. Nicely done!

Gravatar The first thing I noticed was your handknit. It's a good photo of you and Adele.

We went to a travelling food and wine show in Atlantic City but were disappointed at the showing. We found some interesting foods but not many vendors.

Sorry about the head cold. We are sinus deep in allergies here.

Gravatar Sounds like so much fun - love the photos of the twos of you - and good on you - however you got that pan!

Gravatar MMMmmmm Gordon Ramsay....

Gravatar It looks like you had a fabulous day - love the shawl especially!

I am extremely jealous of your new frying pan... *wanders off to cuddle her La Crueset dutch oven and whisper comforting words*

Gravatar It sounds like you had a great day! I don't have a lot of traditions like that, but I always enjoy reading what other people do.
And what kind of rude comments are you expecting about the olive oil? I was only thinking that it's nice you have something that reminds you of your honeymoon.

Gravatar Sounds like a great time! Congrats on the pan!

Gravatar Hmmm, looks great but wondering what stall you picked the iphone up from.....

Gravatar so glad you had a great time, a fantastic tradition, with some good scores there! get better soon xx

Gravatar So envious - and goodonya with the pan! Yay! (Lucky duck!)

Gravatar It's so good to have days like that you can look back on and remember with a smile isn't it? Even better you get to remember it every time you cook with that amazing pan, what a score!!

Love your shawl too, it looks great on you, will have to go and fave it on Ravelry now!

Hope the cold goes away quickly.

Gravatar great score with that pan!
but it seems like I've finally found something that you and I don't see exactly the same [ had to happen eventually I suppose ] because I really really can't take to the Bad Boy at all

Gravatar I see I'm a bit behind the times on this one, but what a fun post! It definitely made me wish I was there. G.R. is a handsome thing isn't he, but "rough as a cob" as my mother would say. I'm sure you hear it constantly, but my goodness how much you and Adele favor! And good for you for landing that beautiful pan. Adele's lucky I'm not her sister, because I might have been willing to knock her down to get that one.

Gravatar You and Adele look so alike. What a happy photo and well there's a lass over Adele's left shoulder that looks like she wants to join in on the fun too, LOL. Lovely lot of loot you got there, that St. Dalfour's jam is my favourite.

Gravatar Wow! I'm jealous. I love Gordon Ramsey!

Gravatar Fantastic stuff! We were going to go but I've had the flu and then the kitchen arrived early so no joy this year. Glad someone went and reported back! Oh, and congrats on the pan. Nice work!

Gravatar It is definitely a tradition and what a great haul!! What lovely knitted creation are you wearing?? A shawlette????

Gravatar Wah I am SO behind with my blog reading its stupid, and all along you had a PHOTO of Gordon Ramsay. I am seriously jealous. That is a lesson in keeping up with google reader. Hmmm
