Gravatar It must be the Boys month
Wish I could've made it down for the Celebration of Wool!

Gravatar Sometimes I think I like the simplest socks the best. I love these and how they show off the little bits of tweed. How sweet that Sean chose his socks and your knitting as a discussion topic.

Now I'm off to check out Sarah's blog.

Gravatar Envy Envy!!
Have a wonderful time and pet some for me!

Gravatar Am so envious of wool fair!! can't wait to see what you get!!

I've added Sarah's button too - so so right!

Great socks - and I was going to comment on Sean's slender ankles!! but you beat me to it!

Gravatar dammit. I was really going to be there this year. Oh well, it just wasn't going to happen. I'll knit on Til's hoodie for a while instead.

Gravatar Love the socks. Steve has the same ankle/calf ratio so these look like they would be great for him. Unfortunately(!) this means I will have to add yet another knitting book to my collection...

And thanks for the heads up on the excellent button. I'm definitely adding it to my blog!

Gravatar They look great socks. The wool celebration sounds good, make sure you have a big bag for stuff!! Your package is in the post so I hope you get it soon.

Gravatar Ohh.Show us what you got at the bus depot! I couldn't go - interstate visitors and other commitments. Just had to grin and bear it.

Gravatar Squeeee ! over 40 wool and fiber producers? Talk about being in Hog Heaven! Have a lovely wallow, and show us all your goodies. At least we can attend vicariously.

Lovely socks, and a great comment for a "getting to know you" game. Clever lad. (Obviously pleased and proud about the new socks.)

Gravatar How sweet of Sean to mention your knitting and his appreciation of the handmade things (bribes?) you give him.

Oh, my goodness! The wool festival sounds amazing! Absolutely amazing. Take lots of pictures for us, eh?

Gravatar Wow Sean is a lucky man to have such a dedicated wife, but he is also on the other hand a tolerant wool widow so deserves treats.

We have good friends that live in Canberra and whenever we meet, if we are just journeying through then it is always at the Old Bus Depot. We are yet to buy more then Sourdough bread or lunch there but it is fun.

Gravatar A celebration of wool? I don't know if it would fly here. Not enough sheeps, maybe? It sounds wonderful. I hope you had enough fun for all of us!

Gravatar Hugs for you - you're too kind, lovely words to read on a Monday morning! Thank you for the encouragement

Great socks too!

Gravatar I was up before 7, too! Except I got to drive five pre-teen girls to a speech tournament an hour away, stay to judge, and then drive them all home... not the same thing as a yarn fest at all. Maybe exactly the opposite, in fact...

Gravatar What wonderful socks--but since Sean is definitely a keeper, he does deserve the good stuff!

Gravatar That is one great pair of socks.

There used to be a joke about a guy in an elevator who announces "I've got new socks on", and I think about it every time I put on a pair of hand-knit socks (even if they're not new).

Fiber festivals are so much fun. You even get to see Olivia's pods, squeeee!

Gravatar Sean's socks look great - love that wool!
