i've got to say, if i was TLR or Rolen, after that play, i would have laid in to Erickson for that throw. Errors are one thing, but when you are a professional athlete and you play with professional athletes, you can't go chucking the ball around like some sunday morning bar softball league. if he had his head on straight, at the very least he would have planted a foot and thrown the ball overhand. It's completely irresponsible to act like a bull in a china shop. It kind of reminds me of that play a couple of years ago wear some catcher was covering third and for some reason, when Jeter came sliding in, the catcher jumped up to catch the ball and then came down -knees first- on Jeter's shoulder, taking him out for a month.

I've never liked Hee Suck Choi either, and after last night, he's at the top of my list as well. Why is it that, just as it looks like one of our guys is getting off the schide, he gets hurt? Let's hope Scotty isn't out for long. The 2003 playoffs keep coming to mind here....

Rolen always seems to have lingering owies. His shoulder, his neck, his knee, his shoulder. It's great that he can play through them so well (Drew, I'm looking in your direction), but a little time off might be good for him right now-not exactly tearing the cover off the ball.

Rolen himself called his shoulder a "train wreck". Evidently, there's some residual damage from the Cintron collision. I can see him getting up in the morning and stretching and groaning like that scene with Nick Nolte in "North Dallas Forty".
