Gravatar I had trouble following who was conning who in this episode. I didn't really feel like the show was saying "You thought you knew Sawyer... BUT YOU DON'T!" It was more like "Look, Sawyer is completely unpredictable because his personality is inconsistent." Is he nice? Is he not? What the hell?

I guess it's because I don't really believe his "I never did a good thing in my life" thing.

Why is Sawyer the only one on the island who needs glasses... and then only for reading? Where's my myopics at, yo?

Gravatar Also... I hope that the writers weren't banking on us having sympathy for Charlie before they had him whack Sun in the head. I hope someone whacks him.

On the Official Lost Podcast they said to keep an eye out for an exciting flashback crossover. Woo, Kate's Waitress Mom, being a waitress. Which we've already seen her do. That really added to her character or the interweaving of the plot. Pointless!

Gravatar Uh... I sound negative. The episode wasn't bad, actually.

Gravatar Okay, stopping now.

Gravatar Is it wrong that I sort of expected Hurley to ask Sayid to dance while they were on the beach listening to the radio, and that when he didn't, I was all, "Oh"? Anyway, I think Sawyer's coup was kinda funny, if only because I think that Jack and Locke need to shut up and chill out just a little bit.

Gravatar Yeah, I loved that. Making Jack and Locke look dumb, good times. I could totally get behind the con if Sun hadn't gotten hurt. Now I can't have sympathy for Charlie anymore, boo.

I thought that was Kate's mom as the waitress, but I am horrible with faces and couldn't find confirmation on the internet, so I didn't mention it.

And I had forgotten about Sawyer's dorkily cute glasses. I miss them.

Gravatar I watched that episode, and figured out that Sawyer was conning everyone when he said "it's all in the details". This show gets more complicated as it goes on, but I can't stop watching!

Gravatar I was not fond of this episode. Get on with it Lost. Get On with IT!

Gravatar You know what just occurred to me? It's getting so everyone's looking bad/evil: Locke, Charlie, Sawyer... Who knows what lies in the other lostaways' pasts? Remember when the Others said they were only taking "good" people (hence, I'm assuming, their interest in the children on the island)? Just something to think about...

Gravatar I don't think Sun was supposed to get hurt. Charlie just dragged her away and she hit her head when she was trying to run back to the camp with the bag over her head.

Gravatar Maybe the Island makes the adults crazy or evil?

Gravatar It was so obvious that the bag of money Sawyer gave Cassidy was fake, since he already spilled it on the bed once. Can't believe she fell for it.

Bad Charlie. And Hurley saying the signal could come from any time? Did the plane go through a wormhole or something and now they're in the future? Hmmm...

Gravatar I did not like this episode much. It just made me very cranky -- the infighting seems to complicate the plot they've set up so far.

But my favorite part was definitely Sawyer in the bathroom, wearing just a towel, and being dragged into the shower by NotKate (Cassidy) -- AAHHH! He's a fine-looking man.

Gravatar Yes. That was definitely a good part.
