Gravatar Holy crap, I have that book. It's sitting right here and I haven't read it yet. I bought it for Greg last year since it sounded like his sort of thing-- he did like it a lot-- and I keep meaning to get around to it, but other books pop up in front of it. So anyway, guess I better start reading it. (After I finish The Host, though!)

Gravatar Read it read it read it. I'm waiting for The Host to come out in paperback. (Unless, of course, someone tells me it's that good.) I was in the bookstore on Friday and I had to talk myself out of picking it up.

Gravatar I literally just noticed that "innuendo outuendo" in your header. That's pretty funny.

Gravatar Hee. I wish I could take credit, but it's from Wicked (the musical).

Gravatar I have to admit something - I got halfway through Blindness several years ago (like, whenever it first came out) and quit. Saramago's format just bothered me. I liked the idea though.

Should I go back and try it again?

Gravatar Try it again! I had no problem reading it (then again, I HAD to; it was for class) but I think once you get far enough in you'll be glad you stuck with it.

Gravatar OK, how have I never heard of this? Sounds like I should read it, if it's one of your favorites "of all time."

Gravatar I will have to check out the book although the trailer of that movie looks really freakin good!!! If I can find some time to myself to read anything other than a book about massage!

Oh and did you ever notice that in EVERY movie about a widespread plague, the person on the television talking to the public always says, "May God help us all." WTF?! is up with that?

Gravatar DeAnn - Glad I could tip you off.

naynay - Hee, that's so true!
