This week was pretty unsatisfying but hopefully they're just setting up for the rest of the finale, when we'll get some answers. I like that we seem to be so close to the rescue of the Oceanic 6, but they're all spread out: at The Orchid, in the jungle, on the boat, etc.

Talks about what we learned this episode. Interesting, since I didn't really think much happened either. It was a build up episode for sure. But I cheered for Sun when she bought her fathers company. Awesome! I wonder if that theory about the sins of their fathers having something to do with why everyone is on the island.

You're right! Why are they assuming the freighter is the safe place to be? Unless Bug Eyes has some kind of plan (and he says he ALWAYS has one, uh huh) to kill the bad guys stalking around the Orchid, they are sooo heading back to the freighter when they're done. And boom-- everyone gets killed. I am not looking forward to losing Desmond or Jin, who has also become one of my fave characters. Even if he learned English pretty damn fast, IMHO.
So I guess we know now why Jack was so intent on not seeing the baby in that episode with Kate being in court... he knows it's his nephew and he did nothing to save his own sister. So concerned with being the big hero down on the beach, and just letting Clare go off with Locke and the rest. I'm sure the guilt's going to do him in.
But THEN, given that wonky flash-forward timeline...why is he then fine with Aaron for the most part in that pantless-Kate episode? When the hell is that? Oh, Christ. I am going to have a stroke trying to keep all this straight. Bring on the long-term-care facility because it's not going to stop me from watching this shit!
Oh, thank GOD a time line!! I don't really have anything to add to what's already been said except that I love watching Locke and Ben interact.
Lisa - Yeah, I'd love to know why Jack comes to be okay with being around Aaron.
Wickedly Scarlett - I know. Those two together is like crazy squared.
