well .. go to their clinical web page http://www.my-no-no.com/
facetrai...er_clinical.asp where it explains how it works and how they measured. It makes sense, using resistence training on your facial muscles to reduce sagging. As a side benefit they show the increased blood flow which in my eyes makes this amazing skin complexion change.
Trust the guys from no!no! they are the only ones that were able to deliver professional clinical results at-home.

Wouldn't pulling your delicate facial skin around while "exercising" the muscles just result in saggier skin???

lora - Ha! Seriously.
Jamelah - I know. You know what would go with this thing? A straitjacket.
Freda - Interesting ... but no. Even if it DID work, it's not worth $200 every six months.
Angela - Yeah, I think the lady on HSN (the host, not the woman from no!no!) was just pulling that out of her ass, honestly.

It blows my mind the things people will actually come up with and sell. I don't know what is worse. The people who make this stuff or the people who buy it.
That thing would freak my claustrophobic ass out!

Sadako - Isn't it, though?
VP - I think I'm more concerned about the people who'd buy it. The people who came up with it are jsut trying to make a buck.

For some reason, when I am pet sitting, I find myself watching stupid infomercials. I haven't seen anything about this. Now I know you said it was on HSN but it is infomercial-ish. Man, that is just beyond moronic. And yes, people WILL buy something like this because anything that claims to help with your face looking younger, people will buy. I mean, if the FaceTrainer was covered in pubic hair and squirted white stuff, people would still buy it.
Yes, I did go there......

You know, I didn't think twice when first I saw the Face Trainer. Since I use their other device- the no!no! hair remover, which to me the best hair removal device ever – It easy to use - not to mention safe and without side effects, I figured it was worth a try.
Well, I guess the first question is how much do you care about your face and how what you would do to look younger. Same with your body I guess. Do you exercises or not? Now, let's assume you are one of those who DOES care about your body and you go a gym. You make the effort; drive your car, put on a sweat pants and a T shirt. Right? What is the difference between giving your body a special treatment and giving your face a chance to look tighter and feel better? Oh yeah I know- the mask. I guess it is kind of funny looking, but hey- what do you care? You don't go to the gym without exposing yourself to everyone. I know that gym wear is not the most flattering, especially if you aren’t perfect – but we go bumps and bulges and all. But with this - you are at home. You can even do it in your bathroom behind a locked door if your family has no sense of humor and you are afraid of being laughed at. And its only for 10 minutes a day.
I read the instructions too before I bought the Face Trainer and I'm sorry, I understood the need to change levels a little bit differently. First it made sense to me, though I haven’t had to yet. It's well known an exercise regimen is more successful if you change things around a bit. So they recommend (they don't say it’s a must) alternating between levels every so often, just to make sure your muscles don’t get stuck or plateau. I've been using mine since mid-March when it first came out and I haven’t had to buy a new one yet. But this also makes sense to me – you go running in your sneakers everyday – they are bound to wear out eventually. You don't have to buy a new one every 4-6 months, and if you do – it means you are using the mask. And it is only a suggestion.
What really amazes me is the importance you give to the LOOK of the mask instead of looking at the RESULTS. You don't wear it for work or to a party. When you go to the gym, do you choose a certain treadmill because it's black and not pink? It's the equipment that helps you to achieve a better look to your face and yes- it was tested clinically and medically.
I guess your comments got to me because I think this is a great product that has worked for me and I think it can work for others too. Believe me, it is much cheaper and much less painful than the alternatives (lasers… knives… needles...). And if you think this mask is weird and scary – ever see how a botox injection is done?
So I suggest you try it first like I did, let your husband and kids laugh at you just like mine did and then enjoy the wonderful results and even more wonderful compliments you will start to get from your family and friends.
BTW – my son can't wait for Halloween – he already has a costume in mind…

I ask this, Monica, because you said to Fraulein to let her, "husband and kids laugh at you" but she doesn't have kids, which all of her readers know. It sounded like a generic comment so my apologies to you for asking.

It's Ok, I really don't know her. It was, as you said. a generic remark just to give an example.

I have been out of blogland too long. This comment stream is FASCinating. Clearly they're making enough off of this to pay employees to track back blog links.
