people dont like them because they are a straight up ripoff of various bands, i.e. joy division.
and being producers and not musicians doesnt add to their cred.
but i aggree that they are catchy, i just cant help feel bitter that these fucks are cashing in on the whole thing, and in the end, itll just die like every other marketable product, like dance punk or artistic expression.
+ from what i understand their live show isnt very good either.
