This process is rather clumsy but hopefully there will be hooks for 3rd party apps on the iPhone to also synchronize their data directly to the Mac.<br>In the meantime it would be nice to directly download docs from Google into TrailRunner…<br><br>Before I used a Nokia 6110 Navigator to track my runs (using SportsTracker). Importing into TrailRunner wasn't more comfortable though as I had to first export each single track, copy it from the Nokia to the Mac and then importing the data into TrailRunner.<br><br>I record heart rate data, distance and velocity using my Polar S625X. Matching this data with the GPS tracks seams still to be somewhat unintuituve to me. Making a mistake in the order of feeding the data to TrailRunner often ends up having the same exercise recorded twice. Also it would be nice to be able to choose from which source overlapping data (e.g. velocitiy or distance) should be taken.<br>In my case the polar footpod generally gives a more accurate reading for distance and velocity than the GPS device.<br><br>I'd be happy to share more detailled information if you wish.<br><br>Thanks for a great product!<br><br>- David.<br /><span class=\"byline\"> David | <a href=\"http://andare.ch\" title=\"http://andare.ch\">Homepage</a> | 09.16.08 - 5:04 am | <a href=\"#165351\" title=\"Link to this comment\">#</a></span></p><hr /></td></tr><tr><td class=\"MessageCell\"> <a name=\"165383\"></a> <p><img src=\"http://www.gravatar.com/avatar.php?gravatar_id=5d4f18a9661b100b7d179bf8d4efeb33&amp;default=http%3A%2F%2Fec1.images-amazon.com%2Fimages%2FG%2F01%2Fx-locale%2Fcommon%2Ftransparent-pixel.gif&amp;rating=PG&amp;size=32\" alt=\"Gravatar\" title=\"Gravatar\" style=\"padding: 1px; margin: 2px; float: right;\" class=\"gravatar\" /><em>Update to the previous post:</em><br>iTrail for the iPhone now supplies a desktop companion app to transfer GPX data directly to the Mac.<br>Looks like a very simple application that could probably be integrated to TrailRunner…<br /><span class=\"byline\"> David | <a href=\"http://andare.ch\" title=\"http://andare.ch\">Homepage</a> | 09.17.08 - 11:43 am | <a href=\"#165383\" title=\"Link to this comment\">#</a></span></p><hr /></td></tr><tr><td class=\"MessageCell\"> <a name=\"167173\"></a> <p><img src=\"http://www.gravatar.com/avatar.php?gravatar_id=331ebc5d49f0b85f2c04d5e73f6f6ac0&amp;default=http%3A%2F%2Fec1.images-amazon.com%2Fimages%2FG%2F01%2Fx-locale%2Fcommon%2Ftransparent-pixel.gif&amp;rating=PG&amp;size=32\" alt=\"Gravatar\" title=\"Gravatar\" style=\"padding: 1px; margin: 2px; float: right;\" class=\"gravatar\" />I use a Garmin Edge 205.<br><br>The import feature via Garmin Training Center works for tracks and elevation but not for the speed.<br><br>How about this?<br><br>Thanks.<br>Fabio.<br /><span class=\"byline\"> icefabio | 11.14.08 - 2:17 am | <a href=\"#167173\" title=\"Link to this comment\">#</a></span></p><hr /></td></tr><tr><td class=\"MessageCell\"> <a name=\"168404\"></a> <p><img src=\"http://www.gravatar.com/avatar.php?gravatar_id=4a77820cc954ab33a0d7933bb60bf044&amp;default=http%3A%2F%2Fec1.images-amazon.com%2Fimages%2FG%2F01%2Fx-locale%2Fcommon%2Ftransparent-pixel.gif&amp;rating=PG&amp;size=32\" alt=\"Gravatar\" title=\"Gravatar\" style=\"padding: 1px; margin: 2px; float: right;\" class=\"gravatar\" />I was importing a trail from ForeRunner 305 via TC and Loadmy tracks and this has a big difference in length from the actual device data (and what TC is showing) and also what I computed in TR when laying out that course. <br><br>Also it looks like TC is (still) supported from the Garmin side, as the latest version for the Mac (2.1.6) got released in Oct 2008 and the changelog looks like they are working on it and also that they are woking on Leopard vs Tiger issues.
