The Capital Letter - by BerlinBear

Maybe you could cross-post this newsletter on t-blog? Some of the bloggers do it. I know Dr. Forbush does. I don't know the details of the process, but it can't be very difficult. Would love to have "the bear" roaming around again in my territory.

Gravatar Rick Mercer tried to sell the leadership of the Canadian Liberal Party on eBay. Mind you, what he was really selling was a few minutes of consultation with his staff of writers and the use of a colour printer (low on one colour of toner) to create a leadership campaign. No one wants to run the party, anyway.

Gravatar @Peach.
Hehe, nice touch. I am told that someone once tried to sell the UK on EBay too and it was delisted as well.

@PastorDave.
Nice of you to stop by. You're right, it's not especially difficult to cross-post to TBlog, but I'm not sure I can be bothered. I've rather left tBlog behind me now, and only ever log in there to hook an old post out of my archives from time to time. As you can see from the long hiatus between posts, I'm having enough trouble keeping up the one blog just now. Sorry.

Gravatar The voters of Tauranga chucked him out in September.
As for NZ for sale, well, our sharemarket capitalisation is NZ$48 billion, a snip for Gates or Buffett if they wanted to buy an economy.

Gravatar @Uroskin

Oh, I know that he lost his electorate seat at the last election. I even commented on it at the time on my old blog. I still blame the voters of Tauranga for the fact that he has been around so long. :-(

Nice to hear from you.

Gravatar Well I was going to say the same as Mr Uroskin but that point is covered.

Are you back in Trier or still a travelling Bear?

Gravatar Back in Trier mate. That was the hold-up: beginning of the semester.

Gravatar 22 bids? Bugger that. Not good at all.
