Gravatar You should not support someone because of their skin color or nationality.

You don't see the problem with that?

Gravatar hi bob, i'm not solely supporting sam because of his ethnicity. he is a good person, humble, driven and has a vision to make big changes in boston. if he didn't have all of these characteristics and more, even one less, i would not support him.

Gravatar Bob,

I believe the resident Blogger implied Yoon's ethnicity as a secondary matter much like Palin's gender or Obama's race. Another example is the State Governor.

The fact that Mr. Yoon is Asian and a remarkably gifted individual with promising expectations only adds to the excitement taking shape at the moment.

If you're comfortable with the gridlock, the incompetence and the "dirty politics" that has strangled the City for over 100 years, then support the incumbent.

If Asians are proud of Mr. Yoon's accomplishment and would Vote/Support him for various reasons, it's within their Constitutional Right (see Thomas O'Connors book "The Boston Irish").

Gravatar I'm a gay, white, male, business owner, home owner, Italian, Polish, Native American, independent and I'll be supporting Yoon. I'm tired of the same corrupt political system in this city. I hope Yoon can bring about a modern, green city. I hope he'll also bring about more awareness of the amazing arts in this city that equals that of the sports.
