One thing that really bugs me is that Korea (or for this matter, possibly many other countries) produced some world-first, trail-blazing services but didn't globalize those. Dialpad? 5 years ahead of Skype. Cyworld? Was used by some 90% youths in Korea when Myspace and Facebook wasn't even around. So I hope there will be more advisors who can play the role of a "bridge" between new ideas in Korea/China/Chile/you name it, and the US/global market.

Sorry I missed this earlier, Chang
I generally agree. Dialpad was one of many during that time in the 90s. In the U.S. there was Net2phone and about a dozen other VoIP services that were early and the quality just wasn't there yet. Skype just came with a better quality service and technology.
I agree. There should be more advisers that play a bridge between various nations. I am with a couple startups and I see some VCs playing that role more and more.
