If you ask me, America is holding Israel back and it could spell its doom. I think we keep forcing them to stay out of the fight while we try to maintain the status quo. Muslims really don't want us to step aside, its the only thing saving their butts from getting beat down really hard by Israel. But that's exactly what we should do. Step aside and let Israel rain down hell on those stupid bastards. Then let them keep what land they conquer.

A few more yers of endless war and bottomless spending, chasing cold war armed, cave dwelling muslims around poorly mapped countries w/ hardly understood customs, in an attempt to deafeat an abstract idea that could hardly ever ever ever come to fruition (global Caliphate, destruction of western ideals) and we won't have to worry about being the Number 1 Honcho or 800 pound gorrilla in the room. The idea that cave dwellers could ever destroy the west is not only laughable, but pathetic. Taking it as a serious threat to our way of life is self destructive and incredibly stupid, ignorant, cowardly, and downright irresponsible. Proof to come in the form of a depression. I was about to comment about how much I liked this article, but then I noticed Pholpot's comments.
When did the left lose their analytical, intellectual, and critical thinking skills? Was it always like this and I just didn't notice?
Philpot, do you realize how many countries are now Islamic due to Islamic invasion?
Additionally, they have more modern tools to attempt to complete their stated mission. First, the demographics are shifting dramatically. Most Western countries are not having enough children to replenish their population. The reason this hasn't happened in the U.S. yet is because of the enormous amount of immigration we still have. In the Muslim world, though, this isn't an issue at all-- their population is on a continuous increase.
Additionally, they now can immigrate and actually attempt to vote in laws that can undermine our country.
In parts of Britain, Sharia is being practiced. As the population increases there, you can expect sharia to increase-- unless the UK has the balls to do something to stop it.

On this note, whilst the rest of you continue ranting about how Muslims are the greatest threat to your safety despite the fact they have not attacked you for over six years, the US government has pledged to give more military and financial aid to Muslim countries.
10 billion dollars to Pakistan since 2001.
2 billion dollars annually to Egypt.
And now:
20 billion dollars to Saudi Arabia and five other Gulf States.
How long before the United States attacks those countries for using the weapons it gives them?

I, too, have railed against the horrible education our children are receiveing, witness the amount of liberals in this country alone, and our healthcare system can be improved if Liberals would stop tinkering with it.
When Bill Clinton was getting blown we had 8 attacks against US interests. After one attack, George Bush showed Muslims he was a cowboy and that was the end of that. Not being attacked in six years means we have a great exterminator working for us.

When we aren't attacked because of the PAtriot Act and Gitmo and we keep them busy in Iraq, you say, "see, there's no threat - Bush is lying about the threat of Islam" On the other hand, if we were attacked, you'd say, "See George Bush is incompetent to protect us." Either way, you would still ignore the threat.

I love how the greatest argument conservatives can mount against Clinton is the fact he screwed his intern. I mean, what an asshole! He should have impeached or something!
"Attacks against US interests" is not the same as "attacks against the US". You can't compare the bombing of an embassy to what happened at the World Trade Centre.
You are also overlooking the fact that the Clinton administration thwarted TWO major terror plots against the US on the eve of the millenium. One in Seattle, the other New York City. One of the last things the outgoing Clinton Administration did was warn the incoming Republicans of the threat of an attack on US soil. But Bush preferred to play golf than act on these warnings. Maybe if he had been a better president he also could have prevented thousands of Americans from dying? Maybe if he hadn't stolen the Presidency from AL Gore our world would be a better place today?
Please tell me how the Patriot Act prevents terror attacks. How does it prevent foreign Muslims from attacking you? And "Gitmo"? (such a cute name for such a vile place). Most of the inmates at "Gitmo" have been languishing there for years because the Americans don't even have any evidence to lay any charges against them!
Bernie there is a difference between a conspiracy theorist and someone who believes that US support for Israel results in Anti-American sentiment. 911 'truthers' are conspiracy theorists as they believe the offical story of 911 is a cover-up, a lie, a conspiracy.
There is no "conspiracy" involved in believing that US policy regarding Israel and the Middle East leads to hatred and attacks against Americans. It is quite simply a case of cause and effect.
I have already quoted FBI Special Agent James Fitzgerald's testimony at the 911 hearing but am happy to do so again. When asked by the Vice Chair, Lee Hamilton, on what motivated the 911 hijackers to do what they did, Fitzgerald replied:
"They feel a sense of outrage at the United States. They identify with the Palestinian problem".

You are a fool. Are you actually unaware that Osama did fight a Jihad against the Soviet Union for close to 10 years in Afghanistan? (By the way, his fight was heavily funded by the US through the Pakistani ISI, thanks Reagan). For God's Sake do a little research before mouthing off. Fortunately most Muslims dont support Bin Laden's fanaticism but they certainly do resent US supported dictatorships (e.g. Egypt, Saudi Arabia etc... ) and use of racist terms like "sand fleas" Oh yeah I forgot you white right wingers arent racist anymore just better than everyone else and never wrong.
