I wouldn't say that the US is dying, as many of my overly political, borderline neurotic friends have been saying. Politics anywhere in the world go through phases, and this isn't the end of America. However, as you have mentioned, it will be hard to 'fix' everything that's been happening lately. I wish I would just get off my lazy ass and become supreme ruler of the world. I'd be pretty fair, I think

Joel & JR: in re-reading my post, it looks like i was really depressing. i dind't mean to say the US is dying, it's just more the sadness of how such a great place is so troubled right now. i'm sure you guys will pull through this dark period. after all, if it doesn't work out, we'll just annex you. :D
