Yep, these feelings can be totally irrational. That's why they're both beautiful and painful. After my recent and bitter break-up, I'm just wondering if there is a way to avoid the totally irrational part of infatuation and falling in love, but I just feel like I would miss a lot if I settled for fine things instead of for those that make my heart pound in my throat.

I'm lost.

I don't think it silly at all.

That is ALL I want out of life. I think it is really all that matters at the end of the day.

But, I am sort of stuck in a bad love song/movie from the 70's -- but I like it there. Now, if my leading man would just learn his lines and get his fine ass on the set!!! I tire of waiting.

All kidding aside, I think I've been in a similar place as you. I think most of us have -- and, if "we've" not -- then those "we" are doing something wrong.
