According to my neice from Saigon who texted me from Tel Aviv where she runs a brothel (Kosher) and reads Tarot tea leaves in reflecting pool 'swim-a-thons' (don't ask), Glenn was no longer thinking young when Hubert Humphrey was running against Richard Nixon.
He does -- or did -- tend to lob a bomb then run away. And, talk about bizarre: He apparently found it in his best interest for his wife to come to his frequent defense.
He's sort of like Wick's understudy. But even Wick would defend himself, although he clearly found it beneath his dignity.
Actually, about 1/2 of the staff could not defend themselves very well when comments were on. Glenn liked to cut off debate with terse answers and sign offs like, "thanks for asking." Tim deleted comments, which fulfilled his passive-aggressive needs. Towards the end of the comment era, and especially during his infamous debate with Angela Hunt, Wick was using pseudonyms to attack people.
