She is absolutely adorable. Enjoy her cheekies while they last. Around 3, they sort of disapear.
It's true how becoming a parent makes you see things in a different light. It's like every feeling is hightened. You worry about things more than ever before, but it's as if the magic, that spark, that you felt when you were a child, returns. Everything is new again. Almost everything she touches or tastes is for the first time. And it's a first for you to watch Iris experience everything.
It's really great, isn't it?!

Watching the kids grow is so much fun.
And don't worry, every first time parent, no matter how much child time they may have with siblings, babysitting, etc, still looks at said child from time to time and thinks "Why aren't I doing more of that? Why didn't I do that? I'm so horrid."
Okay, maybe I'm just the one who thinks I'm horrid, but one thing I always think to myself, especially when seeing most of the babies around here is, "At least I made sure he had a round head." I may have been pathetical in the first year or two, but I still managed to avoid flat-headism!
And she's totally cute. I just want to sit her on my lap and start talking to her.
I tend to do that with kids. They usually think it's not too bad.
