Sorry to hear about the RSV but glad to hear she's doing better.
Apparently these babes are supposed to be able to sleep through the night without waking up to eat. Fat chance 'round these parts! She's still up atleast twice a night.
I hear ya on the lack of sleep. I feel like I haven't gotten a good night's sleep in a year and a half. It's making me into a crabby mommy and I don't like it. I keep telling James "if I could just get ___ more hours of sleep I'd be good!" At this point I think it's going to take a good two weeks of nonstop sleep to catch up.
So do you like the new job?? Or is it all just a blur of getting into the groove still?
Hopefully the worst that might come of this is reactive asthma. Reade has it, just means he wheezes with every cold he gets. I remember well all the damn times I had to give him the albuterol syrup. He sucks at the inhaler, but it's still better than that was!
Did they do anything besides listen to her to determine RSV? I ask only because it was pulled out as the boogie monster when Reade was born, and used to scare parents into the highly expensive, totally ineffective vaccine. (It had a ridiculously low effectiveness rate, something which hasn't changed a bit in the last 6 years)
her pediatrician said there was a test where they squirt somethign up and then suc it out of her nose.. but she said it wasn't really nessessary and she would HATE it. So, that's fine with me.
I want to come to your house for dinner!! YOu guys are always making yummy meals. Poor Iris! Poor Sarah! I hope the cold has settled and you can get yourself some needed zzz's.
Ahh yes, she looks like daddy too. A beautiful mixture of both of you.

Michele, the job is a really slow transition. I'm really not even doing it yet.. mostly just still filling in to cover the space that the old supervior left. I probably won't really start until I have a new person hired and trained.
