Gravatar Whew! I'm so glad I got out of that one. This happened to me, and it just didn't seem right, sorta fishy. I decided to Google "antivirus 2009 scam" and I found my hunch was correct.

Gravatar @Daniel Try S!ri SmitfraudFix or Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free trial to remove the infection. The links to download these tools are mentioned in my previous comment.

Gravatar We purchased the 2009 Professional Antivirus online for our business computers and it gave us 1601 differant viruses!!! BEWARE!!!! If you have had this problem call 1-866-905-5125 to cancel their services and demand a refund before more damage is done to your computer.

Gravatar Found this virus on my computer yesterday. Seemed odd, since it told me i had 53 infections.. ran my mcafee scan and nothing was wrong. now i know for sure. thanks guys.

Gravatar I found that if this pops up on your screen and the first thing you do is shut off the computer. Hold the power off button. Then reboot and delete you browsers cache. Don't go anywhere near the site you were at it doesn't infest your machine. TechBranch, Tampa Computer
