The exact same thing happend to me yesterday. I tried a lot of different things but the one that worked was Windows live scan. It takes maybe 2 hours but no downloading or installing is required. You make a virus scan over the internet.
After it corrected the problem I had to restart my computer. I saw 1 popup before I was able to restart but afterwards it's all gone. No more popups, no more pornographic pictures on google.

Yesterday our computer was infected with the same thing. We went out and bought kaspersky but it wont disinfect the Trojan. I'm at a complete loss as what to do since payday is coming up and I'm freaking out.

Go to C:Windows and search for Kona.dll file, and few other .bat and .exe files with same timestamp and delete these files. No need install anything...

Thanks for all of your advice. I ended up removing the virus with a program someone else referred me to. I used the trial version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and it located all the files associated with the trojan and got rid of them. It took about 30 minutes for it to run the scan, but its gone! Needless to say, my son is banned from the computer for awhile. LOL

OMG thanx Fredrik!! The Onecare worked like a charm! I didn't even have to restart my computer. I simply put up my internet explorer and saw there was no "Error" pop-up. But just to be certain, i went to google and searched something and there was no pornagraphic pictures!! im so happy! Those pop ups were getting sooooo annoying! Thank you soooooo much

I also tried Onecare. Seems to have corrected the problem. Takes a couple of hours to run, well worth the wait. Thanks to all for the advice.

After all the free spyware and malware removers the error message continued to come up. Then I downloaded and installed StopZilla! It worked to remover any residual detritus of this insidious attacker. I then uninstalled every program I used to address the problem, including StopZilla, and now my computer is perfomring excellently.
Incidentally, I also downloaded and installed EasyCleaner, which I have always had a lot of respect for, and I am keeping it and will run it occasionally. It's possible that all the software I used had some effect on ieAntivirus. I just went with whatever was free and had a high user and editor rating. StopZilla finally finished the job, though.

I found the solution to remove IEAntivirus..... go on safe mode and remove fk16.dll, in %windows%
If you dont find it in there, go on symantec website and perform an online scan, it should tell you up to 3 places where the virus is located including the dll.. you wont be able to delete the dll because the file will be in execution.. sending you all those warnings.. just go on safe mode and delete it, problem solved! For more information send me an e-mail at Fendora2@hotmail.com. I'll try to answer as fast as possible. Thanks

Spybot has an update that completely fixed the problem. Hope you already have it on your machine so all you have to do is launch it and update it.
