AWE. SOME. I totally get extra Fat Satan points for reading that while eating a Drumstick (with fudge). I had to Facebook it.
I had a colleague come in to my office the other day to announce the "news" that "overweight people" were contributing to global warming.
I was SO not in the right frame of mind that day, so I looked at him and said, "Oh, so I'm responsible for global warming? Lovely."
He immediately began backpedaling (again, as I said, I was SO not in a mood for dealing with that. I was sitting there thinking, "suck on your embarrassment, fool"). He didn't QUITE say, "But you're one of the GOOD fat people!" but, gah.
I did let him off the hook with an irritated, "I'm sorry but this is something I'm REALLY sensitive about."
But yeah, that essay is pretty full of awesome. Sadly though I think heavy people are going to be the "new smokers" in that we will be the ones to blame for all the health woes of the nation. Or at least according to the skinny people we will be.
