Jeezebus Christ.
Is it almost summer already?
Mike Fair is like a fundamentalist groundhog that emerges each May to introduce some wacky creationist legislation just to remind us his brain is still cooked.
He's certainly outdone himself with the section that excludes "Old and New Testament era courses."
Priceless.

This bill will allow creationists to sue to prevent evilution from being taught in schools. It's a little more sophisticated than most creationists' anti-evilutionist laws, but not than much more.

The word you want is "fortunately", because if clever and Mike Fair did go together the world would be hurting a lot more.

We at SCSE got notice from NCSE about this Tuesday or Wednesday but the server that SCSE is on is down right now so I couldn't post about it. The guys at NCSE are working on it. Check your gmail email for something I just sent.

Between this miserable, relentless asshole and Jim DeMint (who is only slightly to the right of Attila the Hun), you poor bastards really have it made in S.C.

Why do they always try to have it both ways.
First the attack science, and then they ask for their views to be taught in science class? Isn't that a little of the old "a house divided against itself" style of logic?
If they want to be accepted as science, they're going to have to play ball, too. Of course, we all know that will never happen. Being angry and ignorant is far too easy.

I'd like to know where Sen. Fair thinks that atheism is being taught in the schools?
Why, it's evolutionary, my dear Watson!

I'd like to see the Old Testament Genetics course. I mean, it would require telling the kids, I mean students, about pregnancy!
Senator Fair should take a long walk off a short dock, because Gravity is only a theory.
