Glenn, i'm pleased to hear that no one was injured in the fire. i suspect however that many were hurt in ways invisible. i wish i could be there to help in some way. here in detroit, fires are frequent and arson has it's own holiday. its the sacrifice of cain. they say the show must go on but at our age and experience its not as easy as it once was to put on the grease paint and mount the performance. i wish you strength and comfort. let me know if there is something i can do.

I remember being dislocated when I was a kid because of a house fire. It sucks. Glad you guys are OK (physically, at least). I'd put you up here, buddy, but it's a bit far (unless you really want to come over, in which case, let's party!). Try not to let it get you down too much...

I leave you alone for a couple of minutes and this is what happens! I'm glad to hear you are both alright. I have been forced out of my place by flooding, but I have never had to deal with a fire.

Very, very glad to know that things are all right. We survived a fire on our floor at a high-rise in Queens in which we lived at the time. Our place was okay, too, but it reeked of smoke for at least a day.

Next time you are in a bar...which I suspect is right now , order a shot of Barcardi 151, light it on fire and let it burn....you can even blow it out and pour it out, but whatever you do....DON'T drink it....it's an offering to Chango.
