There'd been some smoke buzzing around the message boards for weeks about Walls and his academic situation - rightly rebuked at the time as idiots trying to stir up a story with no facts behind it. But this seems to confirm there was some fire to it. As Charlie Weis noted in his press release today though, cornerback is one of, if not the, deepest position on the Irish roster.
Here's hoping for the best with both Darrin and DJ.
Really too bad. great DB and seemed to be a nice kid. hopefully he'll be back soon.
