I think she is simply out of control through a mixture of alcohol and drugs. Many stars take these because it suppresses their appetite. Rather sad.
I am sorry to hear that she has been discharged so early. This girl needs help in understanding that life isnt a party and that there are consequences to your actions irrespective of how famous you are.
I do PRAY she gets the help she needs and decide to stay out of the limelight.

This is so true. It's a sad example for our daughters to see what's happening to this poor girl. But, we can learn much by praying for her, and maybe we can help her help herself by bringing the heavenly brigade onto her case.
I agree. The coverage of her sad life sickens me yet, it does help serve as a danger signal to young girls. Fame and fortune is no guarentee of happiness or peace. Let's say a prayer for this young woman and her children.
My own mother was addicted to pain medicine. Her denial of her problem was unbelievably intense. Hopefully, Brit will accept that she has a problem.

it seems as if the entire family are dysfunctional Now Britney's 16 year old sister is pregnant. Thank goodness she has decided to keep her baby. But, my goodness a child having a child. Where are the parents here?

I think too many view this young girl as a 'product' look at Dr Phil who wanted her on his programe. Britney is a human being she is NOT an entertainment!
I pray someone will step in and help her and remove her from the spotlight. The problem is her parents who seemed to have set NO boundaries for their daughters so long as they kept making...MONEY!...Keep the poor girl in your prayes because the only way she will find PEACE is to open her heart to God. Everything else is a false peace.

I totally agree with you. I feel sorry for her. She's obviously very troubled and what's going on with her is very sad. She has no privacy, not even in the hospital, where they let Dr. Phil just waltz in and then talk about her medical issues to the whole world, like she's not a person who's even covered by privacy laws.
I wouldn't count on her parents stepping up here, sadly. What a disaster they are.

I think that much of what passes as "entertainment" and "humor" is taking delight in other people's misfortune. It's one reason I abhor most "reality" tv shows. You are right, Marie. It needs to stop.

I was shocked and disappointed that Dr. Phil would try and 'use' this troubled young woman. Once again the message to Britney is that she is simply a commodity to be used and tossed aside. He should be ashamed of himself!
I am also to continue praying for her as she slides further into real mental illness.
It's not funny, it's not a joke...when a LIFE is at stake.

I read today that they took her, with police protection, to the hospital after she wouldn't turn over the kids to her ex-husband. You are right. She desperately needs our prayers. Its sinful how the media and general public treat "stars" as if they literally existed only for our entertainment and were not actual people.
I think Britney needs all the prayers she can get!
