"Some people need to ruin someone else’s self-esteem in order to feel good about themselves."
Yes, it is sad that our society had gone to this path. Sarcasm too has become a normal part of life.
"The choice is ours, are we going to be building blocks or are we going to be bulldozers? "
Wow, Ginny and Marie, this is a powerful question! Love it!!!
Love to you both!!! And Happy Valentine's Day!

Easter
Its the sad reality of the society we live in, but the choice is still ours, to contribute to the meanness or to be kind and compassionate to others.
Andrea
Thanks I just think far too many people overlook the impact that kindness and compassion has a person and the impact it gas on the society as a whole.

God bless you for writing something so true and timely.
Those of us who are members of the Mystical Body of Christ are meant to build one another up as the apostles tell us.
When we attack other members we are in fact attacking ourselves. We must remove the beam (plank) in our own eyes before we remove the mote (chip/splinter) in our brother's.
As regards others who are not members of the Mystical Body of Christ we must also love them because that is the commandment of Jesus Christ.
Now having said all that is my blog charitable or not?
We are also meant to admonish each other which is a gentle reprimand if I am not mistaken.
Never forget however that Jesus Christ himself resorted to violence when he drove those from the temple who had made it a den of thieves.
I am not advocating violence of any kind because I detest violence.
However, remember also that Jesus Christ was not slow to call the scribes and pharisees a brood of vipers.
The scribes and pharises are still with us and have been making over the Roman Catholic Church so much that it is now indeed a den of thieves.

God bless Mrs Jackie Parkes, Catholic mother of ten. Ten? I mean ... Ten!
Was your mother Irish by any chance?
May they be ten commandos for the undefiled faith. May Our Lady favour each one of them with her lifelong protection through thick and thin.
God bless you tenfold and a hundredfold.
Rouse up the sleeping papists and the formidable women....true servants of Our Lady.
My "blog" is dedicated to the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Please inspire the Marthas and Marys to work for the glory of Mary, which is the greater glory of the Most Holy Trinity.
All glory to the Most Holy Trinity through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary the Mother of Mercy.
May She magnify the timid faith of the poor Neo-Catholics for whom I am responsible.
Maybe you should not read my blog after all this.
What a let down!
