This could be one of those potentially life changing moments when the frustation of dealing with the cable company, the car repair shop, an execrable op-ed from the Washington Post, etc., drives you to vote with your wallet and proclaim "I'm not going to take it anymore!" Cancel Comcast Forever! If TCM is what fuels the current addiction, find some other way to fill that need. Our public library has a decent and growing collection of classic movies on DVD. In the long run, buying these movies might make sense because a classic movie is always worth watching again at some point. Develop your own movies library--a monthly cable subscription will buy an impressive number of black and white DVDs. Starve the Beast!
