like it or not, the best ideas and the best beats are coming out of the South...
I was born and raised on East Coast Hiphop, and even I can see that.
As for turning it into a little pissing contest, which you seem to be aiming for... fortunately me being in my 30s means I was able to experience the golden years of 'real hiphop' first hand, and don't have to sit here watching 90% of the toy rappers of today try to recapture it for the latecomers.

Hey Chris. You're right. The debut for Apathy is "Eastern Philosophy," which was just released on independent label BabyGrande. It was not known this album was coming out at the time that blog was posted. The Atlantic records debut is still on the backburner. I will say that I have my copy of E.P. and it's one of the most solid releases so far this year.
Oh, and to anyone else reading this I'll be getting this site going again soon with another post. Sorry for the long delay.
