Hear hear! I, the flaming, pessimistic, grouchy skeptic agree, sometimes you just gotta accept that there *may be* nice folks out there. Just maybe.

Lol...Usman, you *are* a skeptic. They do make genuinely nice people, and once you've found them, you better hold on to them for life!

Abez: You know sometimes you do meet nice people and your faith in the human race is re- (whats the word?) rekindled. Like I went to Univ the other day and the people were soooo nice, made me feel good after all. And then I went to the bank where the manager patiently answered my queries and called up my branch and etc.
So, there ARE good people in the world.

You never gave them the impression that you aren't very wealthy, did you? Because Saudi nationals (if that's what your friends are) love to spend oney during Ramadan.
Anyhow, good for you that you have good friends.

haha I like this whole deal with the "random new paragraphs," Usman bro. If you keep at it, you TOO can someday learn to write long loong posts like the Yaz! Practice makes perfect, and all. Actually, in my case, practice just makes you psycho, but I digress, as always...
Alhamdulillah, you've got wonderful friends. I can understand what you mean about not keeping in contact with all friends, and moving on. You're right, that IS how life goes, in many cases. Growing up, we moved around a lot, and I can tell you there are very, very few people whom I've kept in touch with or still regard as friends from those years away from the Bay. It's just a sort of defense mechanism, that detachment.
On the other hand, I agree with everyone, though. True friends do exist. Allah has a habit of making them pop up when we least expect it, alhamdulillah. May we never take our true friends for granted, insha'Allah.

I love my friends. they make the world shine so much brighter. But I believe in friends for life but not the kind u talk to and see everyday or every week for the rest of your life. U have good friends. Yay! I have this friend i've known sicne I was 5 years old...hheehehe. we still tight.
