What a nice site! I am a Brethren. I was raised in a Lutheran church, but my religion is Brethren by choice. Ohhh, but my faith is Christ Jesus---just as your's is. I was reading your posts and thought I'd comment just a bit. President Obama's song is definitely---how can I put this delicately---disturbing. It reminds me of seeing the WW 2 videos of Germay's leader at that time. Everyone pledging to him. At least that's my take on it. And while Obama is my president, Jesus is my leader. And He says pray for those in leadership positions---so that's what I do. God IS in control, even when we think He isn't. I have said it often in my Sunday School classes---there is no way a person can profess to be Christian and be a liberal also. It just doesn't fit God's personality. So, we let the liberals have the nation for 4 years and then we'll have to clean it up. Or we can let God clean it up by removing His protecting hand completely from our nation. Our choice--what will we choose? Anyway, I have a new person to pray for on my prayer list---you! Keep the Faith brother. By the way, I live in West Virginia. I'm gonna try and visit your site often. Who knows, maybe we'll meet one day on this Earth. I know we'll meet in the New Jerusalem! I've got choir practice in about 3o minutes, so if this comment seems scattered, I apologize. But, I've got to get ready for worship.
