Aloha to you too, How ironic that while you have not been writing, I have not been reading and just now clicked on the bookmark I have saved for your blog.

I am quite distraught myself over the election results but much less shocked as 1992 numbed me severely as to the wisdom of the American voter.

That said, it is nice to read your post. God is in control.

I am also seeing this race in the light of previous contests. I was troubled by both candidates at various times during this race. I am not completely convinced that Senator Obama is going to be a good president, but I was also not confident that Senator McCain would be good for the country either. My biggest comfort as you and the previous comment have both said already, is that God is in control and I do not have to be worried about the man as I know that we are all imperfect and yet able to be used by God for his purposes.
