Be Righteous!

Gravatar Awww you big sap! A week IS a long time. Does the Doctor know the Very Important Rule Of Going Away, i.e. that when someone goes away for a long time, like for example a week, they are supposed to bring their beloved back a really good present?

Gravatar I am indeed a big sap. Presents have been mentioned - particularly as he has gone to the home of good chocolate.... Plus he once went away for nearly a week and brought me back a miniature of absinthe which I do feel fell rather below par....

Gravatar I know what you mean. I hate it when Hubby is away, which is strange as we spend most evenings in separate rooms - him in his study, me pottering doing my own thing - but I KNOW he's just in the other room.

Just keep thinking about those presents (plural - more than one is definately required for a week away!)

Gravatar I wish I had someone to get mopey over! Love the song, hope it helps.

Michele sent me today.

Gravatar I felt the same way thw two times I sent my wife away for a vacation. Once she was pregnant with our youngest and having a very rough time of it. The other was for her Dad's birthday: she surprised him.

I truly loved being home alone with the kids. But a big slice of our life was missing, and I had trouble sleeping every night because of it. Absence clearly does not make the heart grow fonder.

Gravatar After being married for so long, separation even for just a few days is difficult to cope with. So I know how you feel.

Michele sent me.

Gravatar Miniature of absinthe - nooooooooo!
Multiple presents - YESSSSSSSSS!!!

Gravatar When me and Mrs Powersurge first got together we were apart for weeks at a time. It was something I was very much used to, and it made the weekends so special.

Now that we're living together just the one day seems very cold without her.

A week really would make me shiver. Reckon the apple strudel will get you through, though. Yummy!

Gravatar I do nothing but mope and blub when a mate leaves ! xx
( came over from Patti)

Gravatar I'm exactly the same. My hubby goes away for two days at the end of this week and I'm dreading it. It's nights that is the worst - I just can't sleep without a live thing to cuddle anymore.

(btw, did you know your RSS seems to be borked?)
