The "electorate" is evidently majorly right-wing, btw. Nominees for best blog include four liberal blogs and the blog of every right-wing nutcase you can imagine.
I'm much more suprised that I'm addicted to a liberal blog than I am that you'd be nominated! You rock and your discussions as well as your commentors are well balanced, if somewhat heated and evenly split at times (but that's part of the attraction).

That's only because Atrios/Eschaton is nominated for Best Blog, period. None of the four liberal nominees for Best Blog (Eschaton, Kos, TPM, and Political Animal) is a nominee for Best Liberal Blog. I assume that likewise the right-wing Best Blog nominees (easily the more numerous group) aren't "Best Conservative Blog" nominees.
