Oh and thank goodness that we are getting rid of John Madden on the for free channels!!! He has seems to hate on the winning teams.

I always liked the Hank Jr. intros, but took them for what they were worth. After that, it was bed time, reading time.

PS how has the TIVO data swap stuff going?

Gravatar The which?

Gravatar You're neglecting to mention a new twist to the halftime recap of Sunday highlights this year: Tim McGraw's weekly reworking of his hit, "I like it, I love it," or whatever it's called.

A montage of plays from Sunday games were replayed over the top of McGraw slinging one-line analyses of the games ("The Chargers and the Vikings got a workout in the sun, but the Packers didn't look like they were havin' much fun."). I wonder how they did it, guessing that a team of ABC writers put together a song and McGraw showed up at some studio each Monday to record the weekly bits.

Gravatar As you might have guessed, it has been a long time since I watched "Monday Night Football."
