He seemed kind of intoxicated and wanteed to promote his own tour. Beyonce? I have NO WORDS. NONE.  I know BET only had a couple of days to pull together some sort of tribute, but I think they would have done better to announce a separate tribute show at a later date. I would have created a 3-5 minute video, followed by a dance sequence to a mash up of his biggest hits with today's hottest dancers ( CB, Beyonce, etc).  When the dance is over I'd pan the camera to a place on the stage where a spotlight shines on a solitary mic stand.  I'd place a black hat and a sparkly glove on top of it and hold the camera for 30 seconds.
