Just to let you know...
The forum will be up and running in a couple of days, we've had some issues with domains, hosting etc.
I'm sure that Tim will take the time to respond to any questions you may have. Though, you may need to couch things in slightly less abrasive terms as it is intended to be an adult forum for debate and discussion on the report.
We've been a bit slow in getting things finished, but the charity's details, registration etc. are all on the press release pdf which has been on the site from day one.
What library do you work at?
Cheers
@iden

A London one. Thank you for the information, and I look forward to the forum being operational, but are you aware that the email address on the libri webpage doesn't work?

Yep, I've pointed it at a different mail recipient until we've sorted things out. I've also added a contact email address on the 'contacts' page so that you can address comments in the meantime.
I realise this might look a bit slipshod, but it's a charity and everyone has given their time for free in between doing other things. My 'bad website design' is mainly down to the fact that I'm not a designer, and I've been fitting the work in around family, job and college.
We should be up to scratch in the next few days, but the important thing was to have means of delivering the report on launch day, and in this we got the job done.
So go on, I've given you a lot of info - which library do you work at? I support the ideas behind the report, but I've got no personal axe to grind...

I'm afraid I'm not going to reveal what library I work at, other than it's a public library in London, because I have at least one troll monitoring this blog for personal information and I don't want to give him any help. However, I'm going on holiday for a couple of days and then hopefully I will have the opportunity to discuss the report on the Libri site with you and Mr Coates.

Fair enough, I'm not desperate to know, but it would have been handy to have had a form of reference as to how your particular library is run...
The board is 80% ready and may be online as soon as tomorrow, it'll certainly be there when you get back.
I'll probably have a role in administering the forums, but not as a participant. I'll certainly look out for your comments with interest. It would be good to see informed opinion from both sides and we certain intend to try to attract views from all perspectives.
Enjoy your holiday!
