Georgia peaches are the best! I won't even touch one from the other two places. Ours are the sweetest, juiciest....etc.

I love Sam like a brother, but he's just horribly, horribly wrong about South Carolina peaches--they are simply superior produce. What makes me giggle about his post is that he uses the statistics from this Peach County website without neglecting to mention...wait for it...that it's a propaganda organ for the state of Georgia. It's akin to saying cigarattes are not cancer-causing and using data collected by Phillip Morris (or whatever they call themselves now) to make your case.
They call Chicago "the Windy City" even though burgs like Atlanta or Oklahoma City are much windier in terms of m.p.h. While I think it's noble of His Johnsonship to want to defend his home state, he needs to know that the truth shall make him free.
