Gad! That turns my stomach! Where I work, we have a jewelry counter. They do ear-piercing. I have cringed as children under 6 months of age have had their ears pierced. Tatoos are no better, and in so many ways worse.
What fools we have out there. Absolute clueless fools.

Doh! 6 months!?! Mine is just a photoshop joke! I had no idea this was a real problem. I kind of stole (by which I mean I DID steal) the photos in this post, and added the tattoos.
I had no idea that anything like tattoos or piercings were actually happening!
Thanks for coming by my blog and posting your thoughts on the Cartoon debate. I agree with you that our religion and even our prophet PBUH would not have done what these rioters are doing. I agree peaceful protest is good, which I still continue to do. Because let's face it, when the east says something about the holocaust, the west cringes. Denying the holocaust is a jailable offence in many Western countries. So freedom of speech is one thing, insulting a culture in the guise of freedom of speech is another.
Now why do I say Our Prophet PBUH would not have had people killing others over his name? He was maimed and assailed when he went to spread Islam, at a lot of places. He never thought to harm those that went against him or made fun of him. Today, we see his so called followers, doing the exact opposite of what he did. I hope they learn their mistake.
In the end, these rioters are a minority I assure you. Islam is not about them. The Quran says so itself as being a religion of tolerance, freedom and compassion. It's sad when extremists hijack your own religion. Do come by again to my blog. I am adding yours to my blogroll. Nice fine this blog.
