A toast to you and blogawife!
Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together at the toast.
-- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
You are a lucky man.

I vote for more Mitch Hedberg.
Clever one-liners seem to be all my wandering interests can hold on to these days...the politics seem to be stuck on repeat.

Good one, Blogi (as is normal for you). Another needed hearty laugh delivered from your artful hand.
Yes, I am very negative about this mess with Hezbollah. I am sorry for that. I wish so much I could honestly feel differently, but I am reality channeled, and that doesn't presently indicate much in the way of goodness. And I also agree with Stouty about the politics of late being an incessant refrain.
The whole situation bums me out so badly right now I find it difficult to write anything perhaps worthy of you good folks' reading time. Plus I am super busy with work. That will change.
Keep up the great humor!

No it's actually Mitch Hedberg, a very funny comedian who sadly OD'd on drugs 10 years back He's all over YouTube. If you have some time, he's very entertaining.

The Mossad and Kidon have Nasrallah in their sights. This was a small 'contretemps' for Israel. I fully believe Bush and Olmert 'n Co. knew it would go this way and planned for it. They 'need' to let Hezbollah screw up the peace ONE more time. Then all hell will break loose. I'm not depressed one bit. This has been planned since the neo-cons went into action after 9/11. That's one of the reasons we *have* to be in Iraq.
The subtleties of all of this will be written about for a century after it's all over. It's Machiavellian in its superior comprehension of the vagaries of human nature. No one talks about the human nature aspect of this, and in that, the Israelis and the neo-cons have it in the bank. I can't wait for the next big move. It will rock this planet and turn some sick ideologies back on themselves.
